So we are in that vicious circle again, welcome a manager with open arms, then get fed up, sack the manager and it starts all over again. If we had a strong hierarchy at the club this would not be allowed to happen time and time again.

Pretty much what I saw. The new players were the ones actually trying to do something whereas the same players who have time and again downed tools are moping around and playing in a half arsed manner. I'm surprised so many folk are saying that the poor half was because of the manager, as if we haven't seen this happen two or three times before.

Obviously the players could be doing a lot more but the setup really doesn't inspire confidence. It just seems stodgy, which is quite predictable given the players and setup chosen

We’re totally sleep walking through this season, my ability to understand and forgive is running out at an alarming rate. This football is far from good enough. It’s pathetic stuff.

I’m very much a supporter of ETH but given how badly we’ve played in every single game this season apart form 10-15mins here or there it’s not acceptable. Crashing out of this group should be a sackable offence if it happens.

That being said I really want to know why the football side of our club is so broken. We’ve had every type of manger, we’ve spent plenty of money, we’ve had promising young players come through. Despite the Glazers there remains no excuse for us being so poor.

I’ve said before that it may be time to back the manager over any and all of the squad. The players have downed tools and forced managers out. Now may be the time for the likes of Richard Arnold and John Murtough to talk to the dressing room and say ‘ETH is our man. We will sell any and all of you before sacking Erik’. Player power has ruled our club too long and it needs to be ended.

He's been loved by multiple managers before.

I was a big critic of Ole and I would be hypocritical not to criticise ETH so far this season. We have been worse than anything I have seen under any manager since Fergie retired. Even with Rangnick, we at least had like one good game for every 4 terrible performances. The only time we played well for more than like 20 minutes this season was the Palace game where we fielded some youngsters. Amazing.

And Ten Hag has had the resources to change it. But we are still relying on Maguire and McT who the club were looking to ditch. Sancho is not the only player that plays like they shouldn't be the scapegoat.
Likes of Postecoglu has made dramatic changes in a few months at Spurs without Kane. We, however, have not progressed as it stands under Ten Hag's tutelage.
