It‘s not over Mount, it’s over Amrabat. McT is playing DM today. If someone was chosen over Mount it’s either Eriksen or Bruno.

Not that I understand why McTominay is playing DM frankly.

Agree, think the aerial aspect will be the key to that choice, play Bruno, Eriksen and Amrabat and you have no-one in midfield who can contribute aerially.

Yeah, it’s almost too obvious that we should try a really compact 4-4-1-1 in an attempt to get some control.

Absolutely. I'd be bolder and go for a 3-5-1-1.

Push Wan Bissaka and Reguilon/Dalot into midfield alongside Eriksen, Bruno and Amrabat with Mount playing off Hojlund.

Off the ball we can put 5 at the back and on the ball we can push Dalot and Wan Bissaka forward with Bruno whilst keeping Eriksen and Amrabat deep. If we get caught on the counter and the wing backs are advanced we can drop Amrabat to left back and move Varane to right back to allow time for the players to recover.

It might fail spectacularly but 4-2-3-1 is just the same old tripe. We need something different with the players we have IMO.
