The only thing good out of this is if ETH has found more bad apples in the dressing room and therefor Varane and Rashford are out. Other wise I don't understand Varane expulsion.

All the rhetoric about being a fighter and the right man for the job then names that team. I've no idea at this point what the hell he is doing.

Ridiculous for the manager. Everyone can see how we get walked through in midfield and he's making no attempts to resolve it. Just picking whoever is playing slightly better that given week.
That bit can't be true, for a start Antony is playing.

ETH prirotisisng Mount as our first signing is looking more absurd by the minute.

    What was he thinking?

Just like with paper hands Onana I tried to give ETH the benefit of the doubt with the Evans signing in the summer.

I thought it was a smart move to bring in some cheap and reliable cover in a crisis. The fact that Evans is now a first choice centre back is a disgrace.

All I demand at this point is that we field players that actually give a feck. Hard to find 11 of those currently.

Varane is another unreliable sick note. Our best defender, but if you want a settled back four because of all our injuries, then he isn't the answer.

when do we conclude that he himself may be the bad apple?

It's actually laughable that 2 of our most important signings are actually now benched to play McTominay repeatedly (who we tried to sell)

That's a shocker of a midfield  I was thinking 1:1 but I'll go 1:0 now. Maybe even 2:0 if Fulham are up for it.

Edit: if he just picked Martial over Hojlund I'd be convinced he was trying to get sacked.

Interesting to see how this pans out with no midfield, Evans and Maguire in defence with Dalot at left back I presume.

If we can draw them out and break with Hojlund and Garnacho we could get a goal.

Hopefully I'm wrong but I fear will be outplayed in the middle and Maguire and Evans will look like Laurel and Hardy at the back. I can already see a goal going in with Harry looking around him while sweeping his hand through his hefty fringe, thinking how did do they that.

Seeing Evans in the team makes me smile. It is sad that he's past it and a bit crap but I try and ignore that and just enjoy watching him. Hope he does score this time!
Evans has been better than most of our players this season. He has my respect. His level for a 36 year old is remarkably high still tbh

Why do we persist with a 4-2-3-1? Seems like we are fearful of dropping our wingers despite the fact they are largely ineffective and our midfield is largely overrun.

I don't see a positive result today. Hope I'm wrong.

    Absolute state of that team.

£400m spent and this is what we have to show for it? Disgraceful. Ambitious owners would sack a manager who is responsible for wasting such amounts of money

Things look SO depressing, I really can't see anything other than a resounding United victory. Rasmus hat trick incoming.

McTom over Mount is just mind boggling. McTom over anyone is, frankly.

It‘s not over Mount, it’s over Amrabat. McT is playing DM today. If someone was chosen over Mount it’s either Eriksen or Bruno.

Not that I understand why McTominay is playing DM frankly.

Hes playing 3 big money signings with a couple other signings injured.

What the feck is your problem?

He appears uncapable of learning of learning from previous mistakes so there is little chance of him turning things around

Yeah, it’s almost too obvious that we should try a really compact 4-4-1-1 in an attempt to get some control.
