That’s the point though isn’t it. We needed a striker better than midtable level to improve us. Even if he has talent for the future (which he clearly does), currently he wouldn’t start for any other top half team.

Antony isn;t good, but as with rashford, the biggest issue is they have no support.

Watch when we push the ball wide, no one goes with them to pull defenders out of position. For about 6 years, that was 90% of gary neville's entire game, all to give beckham time and space to do his thing.
