Considering Roma play with a very weird frontline, I think he just might. Although we'd probably end up seeing Brown playing more as a CB than an RB so that we'd have three CBs at the back with Evra playing as a wing-back

Fergie should have used heinze at CB when he had the chance. Given he has never tried it i cant see him not playing rio and brown in a game like this.

Park has a minor knee injury, but should be available for Saturday's match against Portsmouth.

Actually the line-up isn't half bad. And may imply a tactical decision to have O'Shea shackle Totti. But I would have Solskjaer on instead of Smith and he'll play RW and Ronaldo LW. Giggsy in the hole to unlock Roma defences and to make up 3 in CM when we do not have possession.

There`s more to football than just pace. He probably won`t stay out wide all the time either. Giggs,Ronaldo and him will be mixing it up. I like the line-up, ìt`s an attacking team we put out there tonight. The bench is thin though.
Isnt it obvious that Rooney will be on one on the sides, Solskjaer as the lone striker and Giggsy as the attacking midfielder just behind Ole ?

No, kiddin'. But you can't compare the pace of Beckham then, with the pace of Ole now. You can't compare their crossing either. Solskjaer is a terrific finisher, which is going to waste on the flank. Why not push Ole up and Giggs down.
