What an awful post. On your edit - do you know who Kissinger is? What he’s responsible for?

This is unbelievable shit. How many children will Israel kill before being stopped by the west?! Disgusting stuff.

The west has been bombing brown children for decades, why would thy stop this?
While it is true what you said and while even one dead kid is a crime against humanity, we are here talking about 6000 dead kids in 2 months plus thousands wounded. If some other country (without being friends with USA) did that, Nato would already declared war on them. This is worst war crime since WW2.

Israel can get away with this precisely because of the influence of the Jewish lobby, finances, think tanks, research groups in the US. I've been looking into it more these last couple of weeks and the scale of it is somewhat mind-blowing. Almost all the US congressmen recieve Israeli linked donations, and the ones that don't have their opponents in the next election receive funding instead.

I can share more of the info here if anyone's interested?
I’d be interested to see. I was reading these articles not long ago which shows the staggering success rate and meddling of AIPAC:

There’s also a few stories emerging of Senate candidates being offered crazy sums of money by AIPAC to run against the likes of Tlaib etc:

Can’t imagine it will take that long given how much land they’ve already taken in northern Gaza in just a few weeks. They will probably also lose most of their remaining hostages in the process, as well as another 10-15k Palestinian civilians.

Nah to the war crime bit.

The assassination article is quite good, my first time ever reading anything from them.

I've been reading them almost from the time they started up and they've produced some excellent content in that time. But that article is probably the most important thing they've done. Proper high-level investigative journalism that seems all too rare in these times of armchair reporting.

Lose? I lose my wallet.
Call it for what it is. Raoul, it’s killing. Military operations take longer to make sure such meaningless killing don’t happen.

Person sets themselves on fire outside the Israeli consulate in Atlanta?

During a press conference, it was announced that a person who was in possession of a Palestinian flag set themselves on fire outside of the building.

It appears that the protester arrived around 12:17 p.m. A guard attempted to intervene but was unsuccessful.

The protester was badly burned and transported to Grady Memorial Hospital in critical condition.

It absolutely amazes me that for all your wits, you still fail to understand that you can't get rid of Hamas only by using military brute force, thus falling right into the same trap Hamas wants Israel to fall into. You're lagging about 20 years behind and reasoning exactly like the Bush administration did after 9/11.

Israel has about a few weeks, I'd say four tops, before the US calls it a day and pulls the curtain before the whole thing devolves into something that no one will be able to control. The relatively easy and expected progression of the IDF in the first weeks of the war, coming at an immense price for the Gazan civilian population, hardly put a dent on the Hamas numbers. Only about 10% of the Hamas forces have been eliminated, and that's going by the IDF's most optimistic evaluations. A few weeks more will never be enough to wipe out every Hamas member unless you go even further than what's been done in the past seven weeks, which the world will never allow.

You don't seem to understand that Israel's credit has been spent in the weeks before the cease-fire and that they're on borrowed time. The level of violence and disregard for civilian life which would've never been tolerated for anyone else, if it wasn't for Israel's "special case" which allows them literally get away with murder, is generating an immense amount of resentment and anger across the world that will reverberate in the years if not the decades to come, and that's something the current global power holders simply can't ignore. And that's not even talking about the current and future humanitarian crisis and the pressure cooker called the West Bank.

Another 10-15K palestinian deaths will never be tolerated by anyone. Ever.

I came across this article at the RealClearPolitics web-site. It may be of interest to some on here. I just read the article and didn't watch the videos. It seems to make the case that Hamas is unpopular among ordinary Gazans and, without actually coming out and saying it, suggests that some Gazans would prefer if Israel destroyed Hamas.

I've never heard of the "Center for Peace Communications" before so don't know whose funding them or what their record is.

The US won’t be able to influence whether or not the Israelis follow through with their plan to get rid of Hamas for reasons discussed ad nasuseum earlier in this thread. As long as there’s political will within Israel, they are going to keep going until Hamas are finished. And yes, many more people will die in the process.

Looks like they managed to find a few anecdotal observations from a couple of anti-Hamas Palestinians and made an article out of it. As the polling in an earlier post suggests, Hamas’ popularity seems to have gone up since the fighting began, which is pretty normal when populations securitize during war time.

Just going to leave this here...

Didn't see anyone of note decrying these actions of the IDF, which, as you know, went unanswered by Hamas. And now, Hamas broke the ceasefire? Cool.

There was limited shooting both ways during the pause (with dueling accusations of who started it) but not enough to break it. The rockets that were sent into Israel an hour before it expired were obviously a bit more than the sporadic small arms fire.

Hamas could have also extended the pause by adhering to the original terms agreed over a week ago by continuing to return women and children, but they claimed they didn’t have anymore, which the Israelis didn’t buy given there are still some 140 people on the outstanding hostage list.

I understand they’re still negotiating so here’s hoping they come to another agreement soon.
