So they do not deny its a mass arrest of civilians to see if there is some combatants between them. Do not deny breaking international law. Dehumanizing pictures of naked civilians to see if there is some combatants between them.
This was the tactic of Saddam Hussein in southern Iraq in 1991 and in Kurdistan.

Israel is drunk with power it seems. They can do what they want with complete impunity, while maintaining the backing of the biggest western powers that, for some reason, choose to impotently voice vague concerns about Israel's conduct. My own opinion of Israel has nose-dived as a result of the events after October 7th, and I hope there is a generation of younger people that see this for what it is, rather than mindlessly supporting a criminal state like the current crop of elected politicians are largely guilty of. My hopes are not high though.

What does 'taking care of it' mean in this context? Are they contacting her employer to reprimand/dismiss her based on a post where she says 'freedom for Palestine'? Has that also been added to the list of inflammatory, anti-semitic statements?
Get them fired. They want to silence every singel journalist who is sympathetic with the Palestinian cause. It's not even a secrete.

One thing this conflict has taught me is that Europe, and Germany especially, learned all of the wrong lessons from WW2.
I know it's not their fault, but the double standards employed by the US and the EU has genuinely made me not give a feck about Ukraine in their war.
Oh Putin must absolutely be loving this. The US has seemingly diverted all its attention to its little brother Israel, perhaps at the expense of Ukraine, whereas they along with Europe are coming across as monumental hypocrites considering their desperate attempts to deflect any condemnation towards Israel, a nation which is also carrying out a devastating campaign against a civilian population.
I don't think anyone could or should take the crocodile tears from the US/Europe regarding Ukraine seriously anymore considering the moral disconnect regarding whats happening in Gaza, which is a massive shame for the Ukrainian people.
100% - I haven't kept up to date with Ukraine recently, but from my cursory reading it seems they're suffering from the lack of support from the US and wider Europe. I've also just read that the Senate decided to block an arms / aid package to Ukraine from the US: Ukraine aid from US in doubt after failed Senate vote - BBC News
The fact that this has happened in the same passage of time as a $14bn arms package to Israel should really question and shine a light on the US's geo-political stance, not just in those two geographies but wider. Their self-appointed role as world police should come under intense scrutiny.

Actually, funding for both countries is momentarily on hold because the Republicans are attempting to extort southern US border concessions from the Dems. Sooner or later it will get resolved as most of Congress support continued funding.

To be honest, I don't think this kind of comment is helpful (or accurate). The horrors are enough without trying to make a point about how its exactly the same as what happened to them.
America is putting America's reputation on the line, not Netanyahu. They are the ones who from the beginning have provided political, military and financial cover for Israel to do whatever it does. And Netanyahu knows, as do we all, that the Americans will tolerate/ allow almost anything, uttering platitudes about civilian casualties while still providing weapons.
It's going way too far when they're eradicating generations of people. This is no longer about revenge or control, it's about extermination.

That isn't the same as what the Nazis did and I don't think there is a need to use this particularly emotive comparison.
You aren't seeing parallels in large groups of people being rounded up, stripped naked and then 'going missing'. These aren't supposed terrorists they're rounding up, it's anyone they can get their hands on. It's gone well beyond a normal conventional war, as seen by the sheer scale of civilians casualties. This isn't a military war, it's a military wiping out an entire people and their culture.

You can see politicians are afraid to speak out as they don't want to be seen as Antisemitic. Enough is enough. True but the point is that people within the State Department are seeing this too. Whether that translates into policy adjustments, the answer is probably no. But the frustration is there, for what it's worth.
