and what a fecking ref... is this going to be another nightmare? Red card called for ages ago, and still he gives our players yellow cards for nothing. I am still pissed about that free kick for davis when rooney ran passed him and headed just wide. INSANE. How can you miss that. I could see it from any angle and even shitty ones.

HT: United with a great start but then taking the foot off the pedal and letting Boro play. We were a bit sloppy and showed off instead of pushing for the 2nd goal.

Hopefully we will see a different 2nd half! Another soft goal we concede, O'Shea with a poor clearance and then a header in our six yard box... feck sake!
 
I be pissed if we don't win the match, hairdryer time.

I predict a really tough first 15 minutes..and then we start to exploit them...I reckon we will win this one...but it won't be pretty. Giggs to come on with 20/25 mins left....
 
i have to admit I was dreading something happening to Rio today - just had this niggling feeling that he was gonna twinge it again...... looks like Evra at RB again with OShea to CB...

Weve really gotta come out fighting second half.....
 
I'm confident we will score in the 2nd half, I'm more worried about the injury to Rio.

I'm more worried about our injury list - its getting ridiculous! I'd like to see Giggs on for Richardson in the 2nd half, doesn't look like Rio will be back out... :nervous:
 
WE don't have a replacement for Rio on the bench. Why is Cathcart not on the bench when we know that Rio and O'Shea are only just back after injury?

Do we have to play Fletch at RB and O'Shea in the centre?

I think our injury crisis is really killing us right now. We are in big trouble now playing a dodgy back 4 against 'Boro. And no Rio against Milan could be a disaster.

Mourinho must have a great voodoo doll :(
 
at HT you can allways see CHES on the seats, allways the same seats empty when it comes back from adverts

WIth Rio out, it is gonna be tough for Brown and O'shea to handle the aerial power of Viduka and Yakubu. While upfront, Rooney and Smith are neither winning those aerial balls nor holding the ball well.

Boro are going to score again.

There's no way O'Shea and Wes will contain Viduka and Yakubu...we're going to have to score atleast 2 more I reckon.

We'll score but Middlesborough have two powerful forwards up against what will be a makeshift defence. They'll have chances as well, which is the scary thing.
 
Scored early then didn't get out of 1st gear the rest of the half. It looked like they were going to score the whole time.

Rio's injury again is a blow but we need to concintrate on this match at the minute. Raise the pace show some desire to get back the lead. Don't go up 1 and then treat it like a friendly.
 
A poor effort from most today. They don't seemed arsed. I can't stand teams like Middlesborough that only seem to perform against the bigger teams. That Boateng is a dirty git.

The only one that still look doing his job properly is Smudge. Most of the squads looks fatique. Hopefully second half we are going to improve.
 
If we we are going to win the league..we need to beat teams like boro, injuries or not. I suspect we will see a different united in the second half..albeit not in the first 10 mins...*** boro sense blood......
