Anyway, yeah. I would prefer something to be decided and made known.

If they intend to stick with Ezzahazza, just announce it.

The longer it takes, the more likely it seems (to me, as an ordinary, paranoid fan) that United don't know what the feck they're doing.

Which wouldn't be anything new, granted - but we kinda hoped INEOS would bring something new, right? Decisive action, that sort of thing.
 
So which meltdown in the forum will be worse ? If he stays or gets sacked ?

I'd say the poll is a good indication to the general consensus, although a lot of people have seemed to have changed their opinion after the FA cup win, I'd still prefer to see him go tbh.

Why?

The clubs people bring up re: 'time' are Liverpool and Arsenal. Liverpool mounted a title challenge only one season after their first CL participation under Klopp (in which they reached the final). Arsenal mounted a title challenge under Arteta without even having qualified for the CL under him yet. Neither needed to be a "regular" CL team.

Meltdown would be worse if he stays and even more so if he goes and we get Pochettino

Not sure, to be honest.

I'm starting to think this place is actually/genuinely pretty much split down the middle.

The poll indicates as much - and I have a feeling that those who haven't voted are split along pretty much the same lines. Meaning: I don't think the non-voters are more or less likely to be either "in" or "out", they're split too.

There will - of course - be a meltdown no matter what, so if you like meltdowns, you'll be served in either case.

You might be right and that's the problem right there. We should have been going into Ten Hag's 3rd season in the knowledge or at least hope that we could challenge. I get what you're saying mate but you qualify for the CL by virtue of challenging for and winning league titles. So that should be the aim instead of some long drawn out 4-5 year plan to come 3rd-4th.

Honestly think that if he stays will kick up the most juvenile fuss if you look at the hysterics they are currently producing while his future is being settled - not quick enough for their liking and it’s the end of the club as we know it and INEOS is a failed project.

I’d rather he stays at this point because I don’t like the alternatives and I think that’s the pragmatic position of most of the ETH in crowd. If he goes there isn’t going to be any toys out the pram, it is what it is but I hope they have a bit of imagination in picking his successor and it’s not any of Poch, Tuchel or god forbid… Southgate.

Indeed, I can't think of another club on the planet with one of the highest incomes, wage bills and annual transfer spends where aiming for 4th in your third year in the job would be acceptable.

And even with the injuries we had this season, had we abandoned the silly bollocks tactics mid-season I reckon we might just have nicked 4th.
 
I think if the review ends this week then we will take the next couple of weeks to organize all the information that has been gathered so we can begin drawing conclusions in 2-3 weeks before we start decision making process a few weeks after. We can’t be more than a few months away from the decision being made at this point.

Legit question man, how fast could you go through a data as big as Manchester United as a club could hold? Better take time and make the right decision, or rush into something head first & crash and burn.

No worries my man, no apology required. Just didn't want the Glazers getting full credit for that particular acquisition. There were rumours for time after saying Ratcliffe, Blanc and Brailsford had seen Berrarda first hand and were impressed.
 
If he is sacked (I think they will bottle it) surely they'll have the next guy sorted and not be starting a whole new saga to drag on for weeks.

You also have to consider that it's the beginning of summer, and some key employees in this process (e.g. the receptionists who are compiling and collating the notes from the review) could be on vacation. So you should push back that timeline by another month or two.
 
It's going to take quite a bit of time to put together all the binders filled with notes on every aspect of the administration of the club since the Glazers took over two decades ago. And then review all that data, datum after datum. Perhaps another 6-7 weeks!

I thought Blanc was always a temp appointment and Berrada was an Ineos find but Glazers had to formally appoint as Ratcliffe share buy hadn’t been approved.

Yeah which is why I'm not really invested in it tbh. I'm more in the out camp but not that bothered if he stays either considering the managerial talent available at the minute.
