West Ham are currently in talks with Southampton to bring KWP in.
Isn't Alfie Daughty a left back?

The Evans and Heaton news we all had been waiting for.
Yeah he's a LWB. He has and can played as a RWB but it's not his position and he's much better on the left. It would make zero sense for him to be on any shortlist for RBs.Isn't Alfie Daughty a left back?
High fee and high wages, doesn't feel like it's gonna happen and I am not keen on him too
He was on 300k+ he would probably not have accepted 100k. There was an option to extend which we didn‘t take.Just a thought about Varane.
He's being linked to clubs like newly promoted Como. My guess is he will only be getting a fraction of the wages he got at United.
Could we not have just offered him say £100k a week and he wouldnt have had to uproot his family and potentially miss out on more trophies for the same pay abroad?
Yes he's injury prone, but the last few games he had at United were fantastic and if we can get half a season out of him it would be worth keeping for another year instead of blowing £40m to replace him + still needing another CB.
I mean he says its independent of the Branthwaite deal....This is just fluff hes got from United to try and persuade other teams we're looking at options
And we really shouldn't sign either given price tags, wages and other available options.I mean he says its independent of the Branthwaite deal....
Who are those do you think? Todibo has been ruled out (pending appeal). And Yoro reportedly much prefers Real Madrid. If you rule out Branthwaite and De Ligt (which is valid given their prices / wages / injury issues with the latter) then who do you think we should move on to?And we really shouldn't sign either given price tags, wages and other available options.
As long as the player's agent/camp on the same page as the player himself, then this shouldn't take too long to advance. What will take a while is the completion of the deal, which will most likely require Ugarte himself to be involved. Is he not at the Copa America? Usually transfers drag out for players at tournaments

maguire really is not better for feck sakeMaguire is better. May as well bring back Woodward if this is the new level of scouting.
Fred says hi. Although he was more of an excited spaniel. This would be a wonderful signing if it happens. We need a hound in midfield. Haven’t had one since Ander Herrera.
Zirkzee clearly wants milan. He already lives in italy aswell. I say we should move on
I think we all know the answer to that.....there is none.I don't really care either way but what proof do you have that he "clearly" wants milan?
Source (Tier 1):
I do think Zirkzee is being looked at purely for style of play. He ain’t the clinical goalscorer we all crave. But he’ll improve our wingers and we’ll probably play our best football like we did with Martial leading the line. There's a lot of talk about who Ten Hag wants, with this and De Ligt. Seems we forgot to add a scouting department still and the manager is still calling the shots.
Will be pleasantly surprised if we sign anyone before end of JulyAny chance of agreeing a fee with anyone this weekend?

I’m expecting to have at least 1 new signing. Possibly 2 by mid July. I mean we’re talking to a few players already and it’s not the beginning of July yet. Will be pleasantly surprised if we sign anyone before end of July
Agreed. But I’d prefer two midfielders, at least. If we get the striker, midfielder and two centre backs we are linked with. A big if. Then that's a big improvement to the squad.
