I think that'll be the line up though i'd prefer Smith alongside Rooney, as Roon doen't fill me with confidence leading the line by himself

Too true.....amateurs starting this thread is not a good omen. It's already got me thinking about this thread instead of about the game.

Ronaldo in the first, Carrick in the middle of the second, and Lumpty scoring a long range deflected shot in the added time.

Not overly confident about this game actually. I just feel Chelsea are going to be really really up for this since its the final time they can bring us down a peg. Having said this, unlike some here, I don't think losing would take any gloss off the season. The league is what I wanted this season, above all. Its the main prize and if Chelsea had the choice of losing the FA cup today, but taking the league...then they would take it like a shot.

Still....a another double would be nice lol :smirk:

According to MUTV lineups are expected at 1400.

Seems that SAF will prefer Wes Brown so he can help Rio and Vidic with Terry and Drogba. Also Fletcher might be playing, which means Rooney will be up front.

As for Chelsea the word is that Bridge will play LB, Kalu will flank Drogba with Joe Cole the other side.

We'll have to wait and see.

Hmm, not too sure about that.

Not getting an attacking vibe here, we're gonna be cautious, a cagey first half at least.
 
Heinze and Brown at fullback. Hmm, Evra might have handled SWP better.

Obi Mikel, SWP and Bridge play for Chelsea.


I don't like our line-up. We may struggle to score with Rooney on his own up front and I can see this going to penalties.
