3-1 Rooney,Ronaldo and Rio

Typically Everton give lesser sides a tough time but tend to have less success against better sides. As long as United is defensively responsible, they shouldn't have that much trouble.

Come on. He had a shocking game but he's been great up to now. All keepers have bad games and Van der Sar has enough experience by now to put the game behind him and not let it affect his future performances.

Was but a suggestion. Either way, Fergie needs to light a spark under his but and get him back in line. We can't afford to have him pulling a Cech and letting Gallas creep in with an easy header. I'm not asking him to make spectacular saves. He's just supposed to do the easy things right, in which case last week he was terrible in that aspect.

Some of you seem to underestimate Everton! They're a good side and without a doubt, we have to field our best XI!

Ronaldo------Hargreaves---Anderson-----Giggs--
--------------Tevez------Rooney------------

We will have other games where we can make a few chances, i.e. play Carrick, Nani or Saha (Sunderland)

Thats the right thing to do mate, Everton is the on form team taking 14 points from the last 6 games and we are second with 13 points.
Some people just dont learn and keep understimating teams, thought the Bolton game was a lesson and many on here just forgot that.

feck - another early kick-off on sunday!

I'm at work, bastard FA

Anyways, we'll be on top form, Anderson to get his first too.

4-1

Tevez, Rooney, Ronaldo, Anderson

Cahill

Everton have something like 5 games in 13 days, so they'll need to prioritise and rotate players. It's been known for opposition managers to rest some of their main players when visiting Old Trafford on the basis that they want to be at their best in the more winnable game a few days later. Everton could put out their best side and give everything in the outside hope of getting a point, but what is the subsequent cost in the likely event that they lose anyway? There's a good chance that we won't see their strongest team on Sunday, whereas I assume that we will put out close to our best team.

Hes actually a really good keeper, he isnt a big club player though.

Oh I agree, there is no doubt he is a good keeper bar the occasional mistake, that said he will save the game for them, if United play well they will put three or four past him regardless of how well he plays

ronaldo anderson hargreaves giggs

tevez rooney

Strongest 11 to start. vds to start as dropping him could adversley affect his confidence. really want rooney to get back to scoring, and want to see nani on the bench also.

3-1

We will definitely need to do some rotating this Xmas but not against Everton - theyre playing on Thurs so we hit them hard and early. IF and I mean IF we get into a good position then make full use of the subs bench.

MUFC 2 - EFC 0

We may not see players rotated, but one or two could find themselves dropped after the Xmas party.

Pique and Nani likely candidates to prosper as a result you'd think.

don't think Fergie will decide not to field our best eleven in order to punish the likes of Rio and giggs, I still expect them to start but they will definitely get a good bollocking from Fergie in the training mind.

I'd like to see Nani start this one. Pip Neville knows all about Giggs anyway.

Should be a tough game

But i think the players will be really up for it and will have to prove to saf that the scandals of the christmas party are behinf them

it will be the same team that beat Liverpool imo......
Fergie will ring the changes against Sunderland...then bring back the top guns against West Ham...

Although I am expecting that they win, I will certainly be pleased with a win vs. West Ham

A tricky game this, I can only see us scoring four goals.

4-1 :D

this will be a tougher match than the previous one....

If you are referring to the game at Goodison in September, then i'm not sure i'd agree. That was an away game, it was a noon kick off on the Saturday after internationals, and important players like Rooney, Hargreaves were missing while others like Ronaldo weren't match fit.
