Reading 0-1 Portsmouth

Ht:Should have kept the tempo going after we scored. But the Brummies don't show any signs of scoring.

holly cow  i just watched the goal and i realised that i scored very, very similar goal on FIFA today vs Birmingham

FIFA 08 is soooooo realistic :D

I used to really hate the Fifa series, but this year EA have done a fantastic job.

Park, for a first starting game, and second appearance, he's showing some great movements.

Anderson, Ronaldo and Rio again awesome.
Nani did also very well, as well as teveth, evra and vidic.

Oshea looks dodgy as always and carrick was ok, some sloppy first touches but ok.

i can't, but i was watching that video and it was total deja vu - Tevez to Ronaldo, Ronaldo to Tevez, the latter goes one on one, sends goalie the wrong way, and to make it even cooler that was the opening goal of the game, everything was da same, apart form the celebration

Urgh we need another striker. Besides the goal, we've been largely ineffective up front.

Showing good engine but we're not getting anywhere for all our efforts, really. Shame.

Scored a great goal but have been fairly ordinary since. Carrick's confidence looks shot, hasn't showed for the ball and has looked sloppy.
The sooner we score a second the better.

Nani and Park are such a contrasting pair of wingers.

Park has great agressive movement, but his technical ability lets him down. He makes up for it by having a high work rate and determination. He burst into the box and has proven he can score goals for us, with the odd assist here and there too. And like Tevez and Rooney, he will tackle and harass players until they give up posession of the ball. Not always something you can count on a winger to do.

Nani has a rocket shot and all the technical ability in the world - letting himself down now and again with his choice making, and yet despite this and the fact he hasnt played all that many games, he's created the most assists in our squad. Has the raw abilities to be as good as (but different to) Ronaldo. His work rate and movement is nowhere near as good as Park's however.

Both of them have been pretty good so far in this match and both have it in them to be among the best wingers in europe if they continue to work hard and develop. It's nice to see them both playing at the same time.

Birmingham are asking for a hiding if we can get it going properly

We're very sloppy though. People playing passes without looking, not getting themselves in the right positions. Needs to improve really, though a second goal and we're sorted either way

FSC states that united are looking at Porto for possible transfers. Is this an effort to keep Ronaldo at united? we have 3 on the pitch in this game (there are great btw)
