My Anderson Suprise

Across the field - but not so much "upstairs"

Yes, one of the many paradoxes of Hargreaves - Haradoxes, if you will - is that he's fast but slows our play down

Others include being English but German, great but crap, tall but small, a United player but not a United player, good at shooting but never scoring, etc.

Can't agree with this.
Neither do I. But that is why Carrick was given M.O.M by most

My opinion, and one shared with the majority of the matchday crowd I'm sure, is that Anderson WAS the hands down man of the match anyway. But what difference would not playing the last 18 minutes make to that when the game is over at 3-0 and the opposition down to 10 men? He was the best player when the game was at the critical point of being won. A contribution during an effectively dead game at the end surely cannot compare
Agreed

The Daily Mail today gave Anderson MOTM with a 9/10 rating. They also mentioned that Nani was right to rub Arsenal's nose in it and that Arsenal should be punished for failing to control the players.

It seems I'm gonna have to swallow 25 years of hatred and start subscribing to The Daily Mail...they were one of the few rags to actually highlight Adebayor's thuggish attack on Bendtner and the subsequent F.A cop out!

Taken from the latest issue of United We Stand

to the tune of 'Seasons in the Sun'

We had joy,
We had fun,
We had goals from Anderson.
He can tackle,
He can pass,
Gets his kicks from nailing brass.
