Manchester United vs. Liverpool

I have a feeling we'll line up as:

------------VDS----------------
-Brown--Rio(Please)--Vidic--Evra
--------Carrick---Scholes--------
-----------Anderson-----------
--Ronaldo--------Michael Jackson-
----------Rooney----------------

Here's the thing. I reckon it's vital we find a way to play Rooney, Ronaldo and Tevez.

Mascherano will be doubling up on Ronaldo from start to finish and could well hussle him out of the game. Which leaves Rooney a bit isolated against two centre-halves. But if we add Tevez to the mix, it's a whole new ballgame.

Rooney finished the game last night wide left and caused them all sorts of problems. Playing on the left side of a front three he would be even more central and more involved in the game.

IMO, if we go 2 in midfield, it's Rooney and Tevez up front. If we go with 3, then the front 3 should be Roo, Ron and Tevez, with Giggs/Nani on the bench.

I'd fully agree here - & I'm guessing 4-5-1 or 4-3-3 (or subvariants if you like).

The back 5 pick themselves depending on fitness.

The front 3 as above.

Central 3 (if fit) : Carrick, Hargreaves & Scholes or Anderson, Hargreaves & Scholes.

-------------VDS-------------
Brown--Ferdinand--Vidic--Evra
Ronaldo-Carrick-Anderson-Nani
------Rooney-----Tevez------

Please.

Ronaldo-Carrick-Anderson-Nani

Please.

This would be the line-up I would go for, but i doutbt, that this is the line-up fergie will use.

Got a terrible feeling about this game.

At least we'll still be top of the table by the end of the day.

VDS
Harg Brown Vid Evra
Scholes Carrick Anderson
Ronaldo Rooney Tevez

This wouldnt be bad for a 433.

I am so, so nervous about this game. I hope the players oare confident and ready to go at Liverpool after all their verbal-jousting over the past few days.

If Rio and VDS are out, I would say that tips the game in their favour.

Tommorrow could be pure agony or pure ecstacy...

--------------VDS-------------
Wes/OH--Rio/Wes--Vida--Paddy
Park---Carrick-Anderson-Ronnie
------Tevez-----Roon------

Bench:- Foster, O'Shea, Scholes, Giggs, OH/Fletch.

Anderson has to play, he owned Gerrard at Anfield & he'll stop him linking up with Torres. I didn't want to leave Nani out, but I think Ronaldo has to play on the left &, along with Paddy, get at Carragher. Also, Park will track back all day & help out Wes against Babel when needed.

I've got a feeling SAF will want to bury them & show all the dipper lovers out there just how much better we are than them.

Roony & Ronaldo to play out of their skins & get a couple each in a 4-0 win:devil:

I don't have a terrible feeling, I very rarely do before we're due to play. Our record against Liverpool over the past several seasons speaks for itself and I'm quite looking forward to tomorrow. They've bigged themselves up so much in the media this week, it's almost on the verge of being TOO confident, so we shall wait and see :)

If I were SAF, I'd get all the shit that Liverpool or the media have spouted over the past few days, I'd pin the stuff to the wall and tell the lads 'there's your fecking motivation, go out and shut the bastards up' :D

I'm not too nervous about tomorrow. I believe we'll be up for the dippers and they will have their current form haulted tomorrow at OT. We should have a decent enough official and we have the possibility of going up by 5 points if Chelski downs Le Arse combined with our win.

Hopefully, we'll have VDS and Rio back tomorrow, they'll be vital to our victory. If not we'll need the same Pig that showed up this week against Bolton and Hargreaves to step back in at RB so Brown can work in the center. SAF will put in a very good side as he's done in other big matches this season and we should walk away with a close win, I'd love a blowout though.

----------------VDS(Pig)--------------
Brown(Hargo)--Rio(Brown)--Vidic---Evra
Ronnie----Carrick----Anderson------Nani
-----------Tevez-------Roo-----------

Subs: Saha, Giggs, O'Shea(Hargo), Scholes, Pig(Foster)

Prediction: 3-1 (Goals: Ronnie 22', Torres 44', Roo 71' & 87')

I'm really quite nervous now. Will be so relieved if i see Rio and VDS's names on the team sheet. COME ON UNITED!

And on the 7th day the Lord said, Go forth in the name of sir Matt and smite those scumball scousers, and with a can of stella and sky sports the lord did rest.

I will get an easy sleep tonight! I dont worry really, I get more buzzin than worried...Then when I wakeup tomorrow Ill be absolute shaking with excitement! BOOM.

Watching the game at an Arsenal mate's* house tomorrow.
Could get tasty.

*Apologies for having a mate who supports Arsenal, he's alright when not talking about Theo Walcott.

cnut.
First game in five that i have'nt been too!

I bloody nearly couldn't go...

I'd arranged holiday for Sat. way back - March is the month for everyone to use up that year's holiday - so when the match changed I couldn't change my holiday day.

Despite leaving a message at work, no-one had offered a swap - so I drew up a possible list with the head honcho - the penultimate person on that list, contacted only 15 mins before a meeting just prior to setting off for the Bolton game on Wed, finally agreed to swapping shifts. :D

Now let's bloody win it!
