Manchester United vs Blackburn Rovers

Neville at CB. What a joke. This isnt QPR. Dont be surprised if we concede.

:wenger:

Have you forgot how good our captain actually is?

Just because he's lost a yard of pace at right back doesn't mean he's forgot how to defend.

Why do people (usually the same people every game) keep having to ask for links all the time?

There are plenty of sites that list these channels (posted on here enough times in the past).

Stop being so fecking lazy and have a search yourselves.

Small rant over.

Welbeck and Manucho on the bench while Giggs, Tevez and Nani are up front. That doesnt seem quite right to me but we will find out if it works this time. The attack needs to be potent tonight.

He's played well at centre back plenty of times, and played well.

he organizes the defence brilliant, reads the game well, is good at judging the flight of balls so even though he's quite small he can win headers and he's comfortable with the ball at his feet.

You'd think you'd have realised this after him playing here for what, 10 years?

any idea what the blackburn starting Xi is ?
strongish ??

Exactly, the sites that provide the best links are saved to my favourites.

How about we see how this team plays before slating them?

In fairness though he does not have all those attributes up to scratch anymore and playing him out of his usual position when he has only played a couple of games for us this season does make you question if he will be good enough.

did we win anything with him being our CB.

Yes.

For feck's sake like, he played centre back for us for pretty much half of a season when he won the league in 2001 did he not?

I wouldn't call it playing him out of position, just a way of switching about the defence because Wes is injured and we need O'Shea for left back.

that means we don't have anyone other than Evans as a back-up centre back.

Strong bench with very good options in all positions if we need them.

I guess we'll see Welbeck or Manucho if it looks like we need another attacking edge. Hopefully Anderson, Nani and Giggs can all support Tevez enough from the off though.

I was being sarcastic.....neways I hope we get to see the neville of 2001, but judging by his performance at arsenal i doubt it.

There's a big difference between Arsenal and Blackburn. What about his performance at Bolton, a more comparable team to Blackburn?

Have a bit of faith.

rafaels playing again, yeeees. not convinced the front three will gel though, they may work well together as theve lots of ability or they may be full of errors.
