Some good points but the truth remains - his end product IS weak most of the time, and pace IS his strongest quality. Lately he's set up a few goals, but I still wouldn't expect him to make the right final ball 3 times out of 4.

thats half of our starting eleven missing. I hope Tevez play upfont with giggs or ronaldo if berab is missing, nani and park play in the flanks

Obviously some of the guys are still doubts, we don't know for sure whether Rio, Ronnie, Carrick or Berba will feature. If Rio, Ronnie or Carrick don't make it then we know we've got somebody to step in and take their place but if Berba doesn't make it, then it's up front that bothers me with Rooney also missing from today. If Berba doesn't make it, I'd be inclined to give the lad Welbeck a go and put Manucho on the bench. Welbeck clearly has something special about him and the lad will be eager for more first team action and he might impress, who knows? I guess we'll just have to wait and see I suppose.
 
Great suggestion about playing Wellbeck, but unfortunately I can see SAF playing Giggs / Tevez if Berba is out

Whats the point of having manucho if we dont play him in the carling cup or today when 2 of the 3 strikers are out.
 
I don't know why you lot are picking your teams minus Rio, Carrick and Berbatov.

Am I the only one who thought that Giggs and Tevez linked up quite well when they played together against Blackburn.
