Don't sign old players and cast offs
Not even on the bench today. No mention of injury. Possibly off to Europe. Possibly Benitez is a cretin. Or possibly off to Arsenal. No evidence whatsoever, but Arsenal sort of fits, what?

Weren't Real after him or something for some idiotic reason

Best attacking defender in the league

Is a decent player though, hopefully he's off to Italy or something

Where'd you see that Brwned ? (not doubting you for a minute, just couldn't find it)

Liverpool forum I go on.

Said that he injured himself in training and could be out for a couple of weeks.

It was Rafa probably expecting Stoke to roll over, and resting Agger. I bet if it was a match against the Top 5-6 then he would of started regardless.

I'm not sure, Skrtel's a better defender than him and Hyypia's been their best defender in recent weeks anyway.

Ye fecking Agger - fecked us on the fantasy footy !

Weren't there rumours a little while back that he's a cokehead?

Probably injured, would be pointless to keep a fine defender out of the squad for any reason at all.

He is their best defender. I heard some rumours from Liverpool fans about him though, maybe they were true.

I'm not sure he's their best defender, as defenders I probably prefer Skrtel and Carragher, but he is so far ahead of them in playing with the bal and bringing it out of defence it is untrue.

And for that reason, he'd be in central defence if I picked the team as he's their equivalent of Ferdinand, with Carragher/Skrtel as a Vidic...it's all about balance and complementing each other a partnership.

I think he'd be a loss if they let him go

Carragher is actually a very good defender though. Agger isnt.

But he is though.

In terms of pure ability, Agger's a better defender than Carragher. Obviously Carragher has the organisational skills and leadership skills to make him a lot more important.

According to Danish media he told Rio in the tunnel after the game (when it was kicking off) that he'd wait for him outside in five minutes
