Manchester United vs. Wigan Athletic

TK
Rafael Ferdinand Vidic Evra
Ronaldo Carrick Scholes Nani
Rooney Tevez

Evans and O'Shea to come in if Rio and Evra don't make it.

2-0

Ronaldo + Tevez

------------------ van der Sar -------------------

-- Rafael ----- Vidic ------ Evans -------O'Shea --

--- Ronaldo --- Carrick ----- Anderson ---- Park ---

-------------- Berbatov --- Rooney ----------------

Tougher game than some expect. I'd say he'll go with a strong line-up 2-0, but Wigan will give us a game !

------------------ van der Sar -------------------

-- Rafael ----- Vidic ------ Evans -------O'Shea --

--- Ronaldo --- Carrick ----- Scholes ---- Park ---

-------------- Tevez --- Rooney ----------------

We need a strong performance from everyone if we are to keep momentum.

1. Van der Sar
21. Rafael
15. Vidic
23. Evans
22. O'Shea
7. Ronaldo
16. Carrick
24. Fletcher
13. Park
32. Tevez
9. Berbatov

Subs: Kuszczak, Neville, Giggs, Scholes, Anderson, Nani, Rooney

Evans deserves another start. Give Tevez 60-70 minutes to impress, and I'd like to see Anderson and/or Nani get a run out.

2 tough games coming up against big strong teams that like a battle, hopefully we can get some momentum going and be top of league end of the week.

----------------VDS------------------

Rafael------Vida-------Evans----Evra/O'shea

--------Fletch----Carrick-----Anderson-------

Ronaldo-----Tevez--------Rooney------

tempted to go 442 with Nani instead of Fletch.

Taylor will get a goal from set piece, but we should be able to win at OT

Really looking forward to this game, time to put another marker down.

It would also be nice if played well and got some momentum going with our performances.

Time for Nani to step up after a disappointing season so far.

In Canada is he not?

Any news on Wesleh?

Foster

Rafael - Evans - Vidic - God

Anderson - Scholes - Carrick

Rooney - Berba - Tevez

Give Ronaldo and VDS a rest.

Hopefully Nani and Tevez get a game here. Especially Nani. When was the last time he appeared in a league match?

Bolton @ REEBOK is not an easy game.

Should rest some players like Van Der Sar, Evra (limped out during Chelsea game), Rooney, Ronaldo, Fletcher and Park.

------------ Kuszczak ------------------
Raphael--- Vidic ---- Evans ---- O'Shea--
-Nani ---Carrick ---- Scholes ---Anderson-
------- Berbatov---- Tevez ------------

Wigan is in good form, with strong and fast players.

1-0 will be good enough to secure the 3 points. But, come last third of the game left, trust Sir Alex to put on Rooney and Ronaldo to turn on the heat.

Prediction:2-0 with goals from Vidic, Tevez

Resting both Rooney and Ronaldo against 7th in the league is asking for trouble imo. Shake things up sure, but making wholesale changes could cost us.

Van der Sar
Rafael - Vidic - Evans - O'Shea
Ronaldo - Carrick - Scholes - Nani
Rooney - Berbatov

This will be a tough game IMHO, Wigan are a very physical side and in excellent shape at the moment (six wins out of their last seven games) - I'd be pleased with us winning 1-0.

VdS
Rafael-Vidic-Evans-Evra
Ronaldo-Carrick-Scholes-Nani
Rooney-Tevez

O'Shea, Berbatov, Anderson, Fletcher, Park and Giggs on the bench.

I wonder if Rio can make it back for this one.

I'd have the same team as the Chelsea game, except I'd bring in Carrick for Fletcher and Scholes/Anderson for Giggs.

I wouldn't change Rooney or Berbatov either. Thought they both linked up well on Sunday and I'd like to see that partnership continue.

Although I do expect Tevez to come in for one of either Berbatov or Rooney

MUTV can't show Premiership games live. It's probably on after midnight.

Get a plane to Denmark and watch it here :D

Why isn't it on Sky or Setanta? Seems strange to me?

Just looking at who they've beat on their good run of form

Spurs 1-0 at home
(Lost 3-1 Spurs FA cup away)
Bolton 1-0 away
Newcastle 2-1 at home
Blackburn 3-0 at home (When managed by Ince)
(Lost 1-0 at Arse)
West Brom 2-1 at home
Everton 1-0 at home

They've been decent, but if we take it seriously which we will do, we shouldn't have many problems. Only 1 of their wins in this run has come away from home.

I agree with your comment and your line-up, maybe Tevez will get a start ahead of Berbatov.

Time for Nani to step up.

Have to wonder if Ronaldo will start after his early week travel, that said I hope he does, and scores a few goals

Have to wonder if Ronaldo will start after his early week travel, that said I hope he does, and scores a few goals

Well he flew straight back to Manchester after the ceremony. He said he had important preperation for a 'very important game', so I presume he is in SAF'S plans to start

Just in case some people haven't heard yet, Evra will be out for at least three weeks with an ankle injury, possibly four.
