Right IF he did but he hasn't and hasn't gotten close.
Please don't compare Welbeck and Krkić. Even with tinted glasses it's obvious to see at roughly the same age, Krkić has done far more than Welbeck. Last season for a period of time he was bagging goals in fun for Barca while Welbeck has struggled to exert himself in matches and can hardly be called on with 15 minutes to go to change the game. Krkić was even meant to have been invited by Spain to play in Euros, Welbeck isn't even close to getting a spot on England's bench. Sorry mate just don't see it.
Jovetic- well to each his own but he was giving Milan quite the trouble last weekend. Quick, can read the play, can hold onto the ball, good hard shot, the attributes for a classic striker.
Wasn't really comparing Krkic to Welbeck but just stating what role each as to their respective team. Unless your going to say Barcelona are a much better team than United then my point is still relevant. Krkic is supposed to have been the latest goldenboy, teenage sensation, the Spanish equivalent of Rooney, Ronaldo et al when they were younger. So it's going to be a bit stupid to compare the two, a teenager doesn't have to have wonderboy status to make it eventually. Fact remains Welbeck is the most highly rated striker according to Ferguson that we have had for a long while. Krkic might be better now the 18-21 age mark is when players develop and Bojan has seemingly gone backward this year. But as far as I can see only Krkic stands head and shoulders above Welbeck and that's not too bad.
