I like the 4-6-0, no complaints here.
Didn't think Welbeck took a sizeable knock though
Why do you think we are playing 4-6-0? Ronaldo will be the striker, Giggs will be support striker or an attacking midfielder and Nani/Park on the wings. No other line up makes sense.
I would prefer Welbeck be upfront as well as these are the only games he is going to start at his age. I put his absence down to the SPurs injury as he started the other two Cup games.

Whilst we won't have a big presence like Berbatov up front, they won't be able to handle the pace and movement of those lot. Its basically Gibson and Fletch in the middle whilst 4 attacking wingers go sick. If Giggs is up for it things should go brilliantly. Would've liked to see Welbeck out there though.

Not sure that point holds much weight considering Gibson doesn't even start for an Irish team with a central midfield as effective as a square wheel. Slightly tougher task to get into the Brazilian team!
Gibson hasn't been fantastic in the games he's played so far, but given some time I think he could come good.

I think its better to play Gibson. We need a bit of steel in mid vs a championship team and think Gibson can hold its own. Possebon to me does not rreally look like the strongest lad.

I can understand VDS given his age and he is used to being given a rest for these matches, Carrick given he played for England midweek. I can also see from his point of view about both Berba and Tevez, with Rooney not 100% fit he can't really take a chance on either one of them getting injured and then having to rush Rooney back before he's ready. If needs be, I'm sure Tevez will feature in the last part of the match. We have the squad to cope, there can be no excuses IMO.
