Manchester United v Tottenham Hotspur

Rooney's fergie's secret weapon, against inter, he has to avoid injuries until then, imagine hime getting injured in the final

Pretty strong line-up. Wish Rooney was on the bench though.

COME ON UNITED.

Stronger team than I would have thought, especially with Evra and Ronaldo.

Yep, thought it would strong, but expect Fabio in for Evra, and probably Rooney in for Ronaldo

I hoe they are just playing it safe with Rooney's hamstring, but definitely worrying

Just shows how strong our squad is, there's always going to be quality players left out.

If true makes no sense Vidic not starting

Well Rio had a lot of the season out, so its likely SAF wants to give him more games to get his fitness at 100% while in Vidics case hes played a lot of football so hes given a rest - TBH i think SAF saw something that he liked in the Rio/Evans CB pairing

Is Giggsy on the bench? Another medal up for grabs for him.

Who gives a feck?

It's the Carling Cup final, not like it's the FA Cup.

You'll give a feck if come May we've somehow not won the league and been knocked out of the Champions League and FA Cup

Good lineup. Strong team, experience with a few fringers with more of the same on the bench . Shows SAF is taking it more seriously than some of the FM muppets on here

This is a really strong team with balance, youth/experience and great attacking threat.

2, 3-0

Interesting team selection. Rooney and Fabio not in the squad at all is a surprise. But its a team game and we have put out a side who are more than good enough to do the job.

I reckon Eckersley won the place on the bench ahead of Fabio in the reserves match the other day. He was brilliant, as he always is.

Right

A pity that Woodgate failed a late fitness test, but at least Dawson gets to play in the final, having missed out last year. Would also have loved to see Palacios in there instead of Zokora, but c'est la vie.

Should be an open game, with Spurs playing 4-4-2 ... whatever the result I can't see it being 0 - 0 after 90 mins.

May the best team on the day win .... COYS!!
