what I'm saying is...we look a lot more solid in defence this season...not saying we were leaking goals last season mind.....

the only time we looked dodgy at the back was when Rio was struggling with his back problem.....

You have to be a champion of your continent to qualify. That's most important

And people here were similarly dismissive about the European Cup, and Real Madrid just went and won lots of them, what was it, the first five they won.

And that has helped them to be the most successful team in the competitions history

I'm not saying that the Club World Cup could be deemed as prestigious, but what if it does, would be nice to be ahead of the game

My heart was thumping the entire match. We were far from our best but we were slightly better than Spurs, we shaded the possession and just had more shots on target, Ronaldo was incredibly unlucky not to get the winner 20 seconds from the end of normal time. I'm made up we've won it and now that's one trophy out the way, we can concentrate on the others

Loved Anderson's dance when he scored the winning penalty. I thought he was brilliant when he came on, some really threatening runs and Foster was MOM for me, some great saves plus also in the penalty shoot-out. The lads can be proud for winning this trophy, let's hope it'll get the confidence even higher than it already is, well done lads.
