Manchester United vs Aston Villa

We lost that game :nervous:

But why does he have to be skillfull? You were complaining that Young would just knock the ball past Neville and run, Agbonlahor doesn't have great technique but he can do that just as well as Young

And Agbonlair won't be the left as Young will be there, Milner on the right.

I'd rather have Neville RB and O'Shea CB, Neville is a better RB than O'Shea and while O'Shea is pretty average at CB at least he has the height to deal with Carew and Agbonlahor who both tower over Neville.

Agbonlahor's first touch lets him down and uses his pace to get him free, if hes against a player with good enough experience then its likely Neville wont give him the space he needs. You will disagree as you have a hard stance on the matter but i just think Neville at CB is better then Oshea.

Not sure if it has been posted already but Rio is out with a groin injury. He hopes to be back for Tuesday.

okay - does anyone collate the stats for the match rating threads after each game....what do you think his average rating has been?

I agree he's good to have in the squad, playing in positions and being back-up when we are thin on the ground...but him on the teamsheet makes me as nervous as hell....occassional back-up player at best IMHO, but 30+ games already this season :nervous:

Yeah, and think how fecked we'd be if he wasn't there for those 30 games.

:nervous: Worried about that line-up (not that I'm ever not worried about games like this).

0-0, with Friedel keeping United at bay looks like the best bet for today.
Not the end of the world, but the media will treat it like it is.

50 quid donation to RedCafe if I'm wrong and we nick a win. But I'm afraid my money is quite safe again.

Well we'll see anyway, a lot of websites like soccernet and sporting life are putting the line-up with Neville RB and O'Shea CB so I've still got my fingers crossed.

At least we have our best midfield pairing out there anyway. Looking for Carrick to dominate Barry and show Capello what's up.

Fergie again pre match: Complacency had set in

We're good when we're neck and neck...ie in recent seasons with Chelsea and Arse.

look at things this way. lots of our big players have been underperforming for a while now. today we have lots of changes. we have tevez desperate to seal his move to united. we have neville who gives everything in every game in the back 4. we have evans starting and he's been great all year. we have a strong midfield. we are at home and the best player in the world is fit and out to prove a point. we're playing a team who are in freefall and down on confidence. CMON UNITED

O 'shea as always said that his preferred position CB. So lets see how he goes.

Vidic's red is looking even more costly now.

COME ON UNITED!!

ok signinig on late is something wrong with rio? For me at least this is a bigger game then porto on tuesday.

can anyone update me on his status
