Manchester United vs Arsenal

Great performance so far. 1-0 at home means feck all though. Concede one goal and its a bad scoreline.

Their left flank looks a bit shit really. Would like to see us get at Gibbs more and Rooney knock some crosses at the far post.

Given the performance I am absolutely gutted that we are not ahead by more.

And I don't understand the posts slating Tevez. He's been great. His work-rate is underrated. Tevez running around like that changes the complexion of the game..
 
Great first half.Really wanted Anderson to get of the mark had a good chance but gave it to Carrick.Our defense looks to have smothered the threat from the arse.Just hope we don't start playing deep inviting the arse onto us.
 
1-0, is infinitely better than 0-0.
We should aim to score at least one more, so that the onus is on Arsenal to attack at the Emirates from the get go. We might just hand them the sucker punch they richly deserve :D

Agree Tevez has been great apart from the miss chance he has given us a lot up top
 
Anderson would have had his first goal if the lino never put his flag up. He was onside in my opinion.

The caf is filled with Tevez and Berba haters, when one starts ahead of the other its "Tevez is crap wheres Berba!" or "Berbas crap wheres Tevez!". I actually wonder if there are any Tevez or Berba fanboys on this site...
 
I wonder if Giggs and Berba will play in the second half.
 
There alot of bite in midfield which is what we need. Don't know why the ref booked Tevez was a 50-50 should have booked Adebayor for his handball.
 
United have played well a few scary moments down the left flank but we're getting plenty of chances because of the pace of our game.

Rooney,ronaldo and tevez have been linking up like old times.
 
We need the crowd to be with us again for the 2nd half, makes a massive difference.

He really does. Saying "Tevez runs around" is simplifying it too much. He adds a lot of urgency to the attack, and off the ball he makes United defend better by defending from Arsenal's half.

Fantastic work rate by everyone.

Even Ronaldo legged it to close down people a couple of times and Fletcher, Rooney and Tevez are running marathons out there for us.

People appreciate that he works a lot. But people don't understand what his work-rate contributes to. Like I said above in the other post, it's not 'just running around'.
 
We need to play like that again.
