It's too bad that they couldn't get a second tonight....oh wait they did but for a bad, not just wrong linesman decision, they would have had it. As for the team selection and play tonight, all good. SAF got it right with both his initial team selection and subs. Tevez might have shaken his head about being subbed off so early but he was on a yellow and there still is Saturday to think about. Berbatov and Giggs were very good and allowed United to maintain more possession.

we played superbly and do they really think we can't score at the emirates?
Lets face facts, we were by far the better team - we know that they know that whoever watched the game knew that, but we only scored one. In a game where we should have got at least 3 goals we end up with one, and that will give Asnl a huge boast. Personally i think those 'pundits' are right wenger is perhaps the more happier of the managers because he feels that a 1 nil loss can be overturned away.
I am not gutted by the result because we won and put in a performance which should scare the living shit out of Asnl and their fans but i do wonder about the missed chances and i felt thats what Sky were going for, it would have been easy for them to say how good we were but they want to give the neutral viewers hope that theres still a job to be done and how we should watch the second leg. We know how well we played and that should be good enough, who cares what Sky think - it wont give our players a reason to get complacent!

well apparently we didn't have a prayer against porto ( over there ) and we're in a much stronger position now!

Adebayor needs to learn to play in this team and not for team Adebayor, its like he doesnt train with them or anything. theo should never have come off, he's the only one creating anything in attack, even if it was still very little. If we had of held it to 0-0 there would of been no difference between this performance and United @ barca last season, but we didn't and its uphill.
