Simply outclassed tonight. We had our chances and didn't take them. They had more chances and took more than we did. Brilliant performance from Barcelona. Not so much from us but we can only suspect what would've happened had we played to our best.

Can't help wondering what would have happened if Park had put away that early chance from Ronnie's freekick. At that early stage of the game Barca looked really nervous and unsettled and a goal then would really have put the shits up them.
Oh well, lifes full of ifs and buts. Just have to make do with the other 3 trophies.
Their midfield is a joy to watch. Ironically Pique had an outstanding game for them tonight.

In the last two European Cup Finals we didn't play particulary well. But rode our luck. You can't consistantly play below par in European Cup finals and expect to win. Sooner or later we were going to be found out. Despite this lady luck smiled down on us again tonight. Barcelona only scored 2 goals. It could have bee a whole lot worse.

Not really for me. If we had played well and THEN lost, then perhaps.
But we got schooled by Barcelona big time.. Pick ourselves up, dust ourselves off, and try again next season.
It's the opposit for me. If we had played well then it would have been more a case of ahh well we played well but were unlucky etc. The fact we got demolished made it more painful to me.
Exactly. I would have preferred us to put effort into the match and if we still got beat, then at least we gave it our all. Sadly, we didn't put any effort into the match after the first 10 mins.
