The ball was been crossed from the far side, so Ferdinand and O'Shea pushed across as they should. Valencia was the man who should have done better as he was the covering player. It doesn't really matter anyway, it's only a friendly.

The number of players is unlimited, but all changes should be made in three times max.

Because we lack a Keano (and no fletcher or hargreaves), I think we struggle vs teams who are comfortable in possession in the middle of the park. We all know we need an Essien/Makelele type player and we have versions of that in Fletcher and Hargreaves. either of them MUST play in any game against a skillful midfield side.
\Im still sure we would have done better in the cL final had Fletherinho not been so unfairly suspended.
