This is another example of Fergie getting the tactics wrong. With an out-and-out striker like owen, you need players to give him service -and that means wingers, not Park and Anderson. With that said, Owen needs to start putting away the chances with a bit more consistency. We bought him to be the finisher, if he cant score goals then he really doesnt offer much else to the team.
Park shouldnt be playing against the smaller teams, we dont need his work rate and drive, we need some attacking edge. I would rather see Nani, Valencia or Tosic in his place, and the same applies to Anderson on the other wing - put Rooney out on the left and get Berbatov on behind Owen if needed.
Giggs is still our best player, and we still lack real quality in midfield.

I think it's fair to give him some time to settle - he did it in preseason, and I think once he's got a couple under his belt he'll be a lot more calm and confident. What I don't like is how little he offers outside of the box.
