Wow, I wasn't expecting that. Some would say Fergie has lost the plot by bringing Paul Gascoigne out of retirement and playing him at right back, but I think this is a Fergie masterstroke!
Never thought id say it but im happy Carrick has been dropped, i think he really needs a kick up the backside because hes been poor in preseason and even during towards the end of last season - i think his last great game was vs inter away last season

I'm guessing they've been dropped for playing a bit shit. And rightly so if I'm honest, I like all 3 players but they need to step it up.
