UEFA Champions League
Luzhniki Stadium
KO: 1730 BST
Don't the the games in Moscow usually kick off a couple of hours earlier than the usual time?
Player to watch out for is Milos Krasic. Very dangerous winger on his day and scored a fine solo goal against Besiktas in the previous group game.
The other huge factor - and it will be absolutely huge, is that CSKA Moscow play their home games on a plastic surface. Even the home team players were slipping over and getting their feet caught in it against Besiktas, and those are the players who should be used to playing on it. So expect our players to spend a fair bit of time on their asses and we could pick up injuries too. It will make the game a lot tougher.
Thankfully Akinfeev will be in goal, so get some crosses into the box and we should be golden.
Good to see there's some people here who follow CSKA
There should be even more people who can give detailed accounts, given all the experts on Akinfeev's abilities in the transfer forum.
shot at me?
I can give a very detailed account on CSKAM if you'd like a scouting report?
Alright guys, it's changed, and has been for the last three quarters of an hour!
What idiot decided football was allowed to played on plastic pitches? It should be grass or nothing, it's absurd.
It's because you cnuts in the south own the sun and don't share it with us northeners(not talking about Newcastle here!!) equally
Oh and Alan Zhagoyev is a player to watch here.. He spends his freetime playing Football Manager and doesn't party that much and sounds very smart in every interview I for one have seen..
I think we should keep the Owen - Berba partnership alive and give Rooney some time to rest with Liverpool.. I'm not saying we should play our no.2 squad but that some players(Evra, Rooney) have played A LOT in the past month and need some time on the bench/home...
Video of Milos Krasic.
looks excellent, albeit on youtube
he is absolutely lightening, looks good in the air, some nice shooting, tackling and passing...
looks like he could do a job for us actually
