It's because Scholes is past it for the big games he really is. O'shea I don't care how much Geebs loves him because he's irish is very average on the ball and carrick isn't good enough to control a game at this level.

We needed an Anderson-Fletch midfield, but Anderson-Carrick would have been enough. We'll have to scrape this game when we could have dominated it.

We always win these big matches through a moment of luck/class but we really should be winning these games comfortably once in a while.

True with Fletch..he'd be allowed to have more of an impact. I still think Anderson is a must in most big games, his ability on the ball under pressure really allows us to play our football and look more fluid.
