Liverpool Vs Manchester United

Not one fecking shot when we had the chance, shit performance against a horrid fecking side.

Can't say we deserved the win, but thats a terrible performance by the referee. How Carragher was not sent off i'll never know. No hiding that we again, failed to deliver against Liverpool.

shit performance.. and some clear flaws need addressing

Our midfield was shit. Carrick and Scholes against the big teams just doesn't cut it at all. When Lucas outshines you, you know you're midfield is just weak.

Spot on.

We completely lost out in the mid field against Fcking Lucas.

And Rooney was not good in this big game.

unless we can start fighting as well as they do in these games we may as well just forfeit the game and give them 3 points

they were closing down all over the pitch the entire game and clearly wanted it more than us

we didnt even start playing until torres had scored

waste of time

fecking horrible shit performance. Hang your heads in shame lads. We're better than them in every single area of the pitch and we deliver a fecking gutless performance. fecking embarrassing. And I won't fecking start on the referee.

Oh well. We lost. Turn the fecking page. Onwards and upwards.

It's as if we want them to stay in the race every season.

Just like last season, for them it was a must-win while for us it was just another game (points-wise).

I didn't expect the scousers to be out of the race by November so no real disaster here. You can't win them all.

cue the caf crashing now...im fecking off.

die you bastard ref DIE!!

Dreadful. Scholes shouldn't play in big games anymore and I was really disappointed with Berbatov.

I'm not going to claim United should have won but the ref got so many calls wrong it was sad. For him to miss the Carragher penalty on Carrick was criminal.

Oh yea, and the Carragher hand ball that led to the 2nd goal was a joke for him to miss as well.

Btw, I would bench Vidic or Rio. Evans might be in much better form than these two at the moment, and they certainly need to be reminded that they're place in the team is not safe.

I would tend to agree.

Rio and Vidic have been horrid this season.

Torres has raped them again.

It's the performance that bothers me most. And how I just realized Valencia is nothing better than a squad player. I never realized how one-dimensional he is.

What they were doing was.. they were playing route one .. such that Torres and CO run against Vidic and Rio.. What we needed to do was to play three in the middle... somebody to get those second balls that were knocked off..
Thats what I felt.. See those long punts by Reina as soon as he caught it..

i thought valencia was one of the few players who looked up for it - he was dangerous every time we got him on the ball - was unlucky not to score as well

This will be their only high this season....they will lose many more this season....that is for sure. They HAD to win this so the motivation was immense. Having said that, we haven't played that well for some time really, getting by by the skin of our teeth. However we all know what happened after Burnley...we went on a run..so here's to the next run!!
