Barnsley vs. Manchester United

Should bring Joshua King on for Macheda, get him to use his pace to pressure the defence.

Did you even see the replay? Neville's foot is heading downwards after he's won the ball, he then lifts the foot again to catch him studs up. Correct decision and fecking stupid by Neville.

From the replay it was really odd by Neville. Agree it's his fault to be sent off. It was stupid to raise his leg like that.

But it was a pretty soft contact. We've seen far more dangerous tackles unpunished - Palacious lunge springs to mind.

If Gaz did not touch him I pretty much doubt the ref would give a foul.

But from another angle I don't think Gaz left the ref much choice..

i feel for macheda
welbeck kept barging in in the first half and then we go a man down .. poor kiko

Fabio's booking for Rafael's foul

What's the deal with mistaken identity, I'm pretty sure it is the only case in which you can get the booking rescinded, but does Rafael get given one instead

It's called being objective. It was a deserved red card for an undoubtedly dangerous tackle.

Yea it may be a red.A bit harsh as he won the ball and it was there to be won.The Barnely player was quite a distance from the ball.To say Neville did it on purpose to hurt the Barnsley player is rubbish.

I really enjoy the young lads getting a go in the Carling Cup and then can hold their own. Champions last year. Superb. Hope the young lads go all the way again.

We have a great selection of youngsters.

Barnsley fans are right cnuts.

anderson should have done better...had all the time in the world

Rafael's learnt some english

A bit off topic but when was the last time we had a keeper so bad at kicking? Van der Gouw?Taibi?
