The problem is the inconsistency, as there will be examples of this in both penalty areas of every single game this weekend which won't be blown up as fouls. But it's the correct decision to do so. The other refs are wrong for not doing so

Pompey have had more shots on target than us (6 to 5) and more off target (5 to 2) and more of the game has been played in our 3rd (33%) than in theirs (25%) - any way you look at it, we're second best.
The only thing worse than us out there has been the ref who seems to have lost it completely. Scholes and Fletcher both had to be booked, he gave the softest penalty I have ever seen and blew for half time early so he could escape.

It happens on nearly every set piece in the box so today a precedent was set. A penalty must be awarded every time if today is true.
