West Ham vs Manchester United

Get in Scholesy!! Vital goal right before the half-time break

Yes

But we all know that Gibson's game isn't so much about mobility, which is why playing deep and trying to control a game is much mroe suited

feck that

1-0 Scholes :D

In fairness to Gibson he's looked pretty mobile today. Done a lot of running at times and I think he has done ok in that respect. He's first touch and passing has been awful though.

Very fortunate to score. Need to introduce Berbatov and possibly Nani for a little variation in attack, we are far to static.

Great shot by Scholes.

Anderson has been good, he's the only one who really tries to make stuff happen, and his 4-5 through balls have started most of our attacks.

HT

We're abit crap...but an AMAZING goal from Scholes...beautiful

Yes.

HT.

We are playing shit.

We're not playing shit actually. We're playing as well as we have in most games at West Ham in recent years. They are the biggest game raisers we ever come across.
Do people have no memory of this tie in the last few years?

5 central midfielders on the pitch .. both wingers capable of playing in central midfield ..
thats 7
better create some chances for rooney

seriously tho .. every midfielder on the pitch ...
bit worried about the defensive problems tho .. looks like it'll be a few weeks for neviller

Anderson has definitely been our best player out there so far in an attacking sense.

Defensively Wesley and Fletcher have been on song.

That's another aspect of it, if you are playing more advanced, you are right there in amongst the opposition midfield, you've got to be quick of mind, and I'm not certain that is something that he is quite adapted to yet

Anderson and Fletcher have been our best players, followed by Scholes.

Giggs and Valencia have looked lively but their final ball needs to be better.

Everyone else fairly average, Gibson not quite there for me yet, in terms of today's game.

We've not been as bad as people are making out - we're definitely rusty, but we've dominated the game and given our makeshift defence I think we've looked fairly solid.

I'd still like to see Berbatov come on for Gibson - no reflection on Gibson, I just want to see us play 2 up front

Pretty poor game really which is unusual for a West Ham game

Scholes, Gibson have looked very slow, but nonetheless What a strike.
