What the feck is Park doing anything near our first team. Shit movement, shit passing, shit crossing, no pace, can't fecking shoot, and only ever looked good because Ronaldo had 3 men on him. He offers less then Nani for feck sakes.

But excluding the time that was missed in the 90, then its less than 90. So in effect, scoring in the 92nd minute, is still in the 90.

I was optimistic because we always fight back when we go a goal down and batter the opponents into submission, but we were shite and Aston Villa deservedly got something out of the game.

They really really weren't though. We should have scored four or five goals today. Like so many times this season we've been unbelieveably wasteful.

Rooney and Carrick were especially dreadfull second half...truly awful....neither new what pass to a red shit actually meant...yet again only Evra looked like a threat...
Friedel was barely tested in the second half apart from a Berba shot and a Vida header that was cleared on the line...
I saw enough to know that Park should never start unless we really need him to.
Maybe we shouldnt start with one striker when we're playing at home against teams like Villa.

Not the end of the world, but that was horribly poor.
I'll stay away from criticizing most of the lineup choices but I will say its crazy that Manchester United at home to an inferior team started one striker, while the inferior team started two. We get what we deserve.
Also, Park should never be touching these types of games. I like him, but it's like playing 10 v 11.

Bummer, first game this season i'm going to miss
This isn't a good sign either considering the last 3 games I've missed, we've lost each time.
Hindsight but I think we started with the wrong team. At home, we should be going 442. We needed support for Rooney in the first half. We had no width on the left. We needed either Nani (i know he wasnt on the bench) or (more likely) Obertan to come on. Not sure why Gibbo came on.
These sort of matches arent made for Park.

Did you actually watch the game? He was our most threatening player despite having 3 forwards on the pitch and being a deep lying midfielder!

He always does when we lose. He's a master tactician when we win though.
Same old story - plenty of possession and creating chances. Unfortunately not many of those chances really gave their keeper real problems. We were very sloppy, I lost count of how many times we gave the ball away and or misplaced passes. Villa didn't really cause our keeper problems but credit to them, they put pressure on us anytime we were on the ball and they defended very well. Our crossing was dire all night, hardly put a good cross in at all match. I think Park should have went off first, and Giggs should have been kept on. I know he wasn't that great in the first half but we've seen so many times this season, he has turned sensational in the second half of matches. It was just incredibly frustrating to watch tonight.
Yes i did and he couldnt hit a red shirt to save his life...gave the ball away time and time again and shot into row z whenever he tried....most threatening player??? seriously??...Evra was easily our only decent threat all match...

It would have been worth keeping Giggsy on, just to take the corners. Rooney wasn't exactly brilliant in that department tonight!!
Our set plays our woeful without Giggs....it was worth keeping him on just for that.
