Aston Villa Vs. Manchester United

Personally no. He went in and played the ball clearly. A few years back people would be raving about challenges like that. Frankly I'd want him to keep making them.

It was a stupid challenge.

If you dive in, with both feet of the ground and studs showing you're always going to risk being sent off. Don't care if it's Sunday league or Premier League.

There was no need for it either. No danger in the situation at all.

Of course it was a silly challenge but I can't believe the people saying it was an out of control two-feet lunge.

How many times has the Caf called for Giggs to be subbed only for him to come out and have a blindingly good second half?

It is a three match ban.

It was a silly challenge.

Do you disagree with either of those statements?

Very stupid tackle he should know that players gets sent off for tackles like that. I think Nani again proves his lack of football intelligence or just lack og intelligence in general.

harsh, harsh decision. Nani clearly got the ball, it was a dangerous tackle but we saw nuch more foolish and reckless challenges even a few days back in the Merseyside derby..

Yellow and foul ok, but straight red

It was a bad challenge and his studs were showing. But that happens so often and it's not always a red card.

But.. But... Paul Scholes has been doing exactly that for the past 14 fecking years and nobody questions his intelligence. Shut the feck up you muppet.

Does Scholes lack football intelligence too?

Spot on.

Its debatable whether red or not but that was a really stupid challenge to make.

There is always a big risk of getting sent off if you miss the ball.

He thought he could win the ball back, he did exactly that. I'll say again, a few years back we'd be raving about it and the inconsitiency of these fecking referees makes it clear to me that they all have a very different interpretation of the rule. Hence why its so goddamn frustrating. Home crowd made that a red, gutless referee with the Evans yellow a few minutes back.

We should have poisoned Friedel's food prior to this game. He always plays like the best keeper in the world against us, no matter which club he's playing for.

What are the chances of us getting the appeal? Serious answers please, no "The FA hates United" bollocks. (Although they do hate us).
