Wolverhampton Wanderers vs. Manchester United

Carrick just cost me a few years of my life...

Phew...

That was Carrick? My stream went out just as the ball was coming to a united player, but I still had sound, so I was wondering who fecked up for Wolves to still have the ball.
I am supposed to be happy, but I am very disappointed in Berbatov today. If he is injured then we should not be risking his health by playing him.
But I still hold the promise that one day, he will score when the stakes are very high and we need him to deliver.

Dunno despite the poor touch and finishing, he added a new dimension when he came on and a bit of a target man for Park, Valencia and Berbatov to work off of.

He's definetly got something about him. Needs to sort that finishing out though. Hopefully it's just a case of sharpness.

I was unimpressed with Berbatov, I mean he did a few good passes, but he was the target man and he wasn't in the box enough, for example for the diouf change, he was the man furthest up field but got there slower than Park. Just wondered why he didn't charge in there like a mad man ala Ruud / Rooney ? Was he waiting to shoot outside the box cuz it was more classic or something ?

What a difficult match, we arent creating too many chances.

Diouf is crap upfront.

had to watch this from the hospital as i am taking care of my lad, man we made it hard for ourselves but in the end the deserved winners we were. great for the legend to get his 100th could be the points that seal the title.

I hope Carrick is enjoying the hairdryer atm after that shocking pass...

i dont understand why people are complaining about diouf

did anyone expect him to be a finished product when we signed him and think he wouldnt improve ?

he made some decent runs , he got into some good positions

i thought he did ok

do expect him to get better with time and games .. he is our 4th choice behind berbooneywen

Well dug out win. We didn't play our best but, we had some good chances. Glad for Scholes to get his 100th and it being so important. Clean sheet too, though Wolves had some very good chances to change that.

I reckon it's the way he missed his chances, they were comical but just shows how raw he really is

fecking hell that was nervy, dunno what the hell carrick was doing at the end, shame really cos in list of places youd expect to step up in the absence of Rooney, both Giggs and owen would be in there, could have done with them today!

Wolves were impressive, great workrate, they deserved a point. Vokes' miss at the end was shocking, Diouf was let off the hook right there.

3 more points in the bag anyway

Surprised me that Fletcher wasn't brought on to shore things up. Wonder if he is carrying an injury and we were being cautious for Wed.
