Rooney's goal was the sort I'd LOVE to see Berbs score. Thats simply the position where you want your CF to be. Please learn from Roon Berbs!

Berbatove woulnd't do a good job marking anyway, what Berbs needs to do is be in the box just like Rooneys' header. He doens't need to come up to link the game if we have Scholes/Fletch/Park/Valencia.... I'm leaving out Nani until he can actually pass the ball correctly.

Park was a magnet for the first 10 minutes, every ball in midfield was dropping to him and allowing us to get back on the offensive. Thats not a coincidence. He really knows his stuff that boy.

we were very good for the first 25-30 minutes
but even when we slowed down, milan werent playing like a team that needed to score 3 goals
maybe the rooney goal deflated them .. thought they were predictable and not really much of a threat

He was in the penalty box plenty for Spurs and scored far more often with his head for them than for us.
Completely pointless to bring him up and insult him when a) he's not playing at the moment, and b) park and berbatov have completely different styles to their play. We're up 4-2 on aggregate and Ezee fits in a dig at Berbatov. Unbelievable.
Nemanja and Rio are playing fantastically well, winning everything in the air and making some vital blocks. I'm hoping that this is a sign of things to come, if we can keep them both fit.

Park is a top player, and I loved that bit of inovation from Valencia to win the corner. Rooney was awesome for the first 20 minutes, a bit overelaborate but you don't mind that because he's working hard to unlock the defence.
