We have no man upfront to pressure the Bayern defence, and its only going to allow them to play further up. From the looks of things, there is no way we are going to hold up for a 3-1 win.

I'd be tempted to put Scholes on for Gibson. We're not going to get forward much for Gibbo's shots and Scholes can keep possession in tight corners.

red card has given Munich psychological advantage. we need to work out what our attacking straegy is. id try to get macheda on to lead the line so we can plan counter attacks.
the first half show, plus 40 mins of them camped in our own half without conceding a goal, could well be our performance of the season.
