everytime ive created the seasons finale thread we've won the league.

United 0 - 1 Stoke (Brown, 90' O.G.)

SUBS: Kuszczak, O'Shea, J Evans, Hargreaves, Carrick, Park, Macheda.

One way or another, let's batter them and go out the season on a high.

I'd keep O'Shea at right-back.

He was solid today and his height will be a big bonus against Stoke's aerial threat.

That's a good point, Stoke are going to lump plenty of long balls into our box and will be very dangerous from set pieces, O'Solid gives us that extra bit of stability at the back

Wouldn't mind seeing Fabio and/or Rafael if they are fit (one never knows with them).

I'll be there--first match since New Year's Day 2008. I'm assuming we'll win, and that Chelsea will either a, win 7-0, or b, draw 1-1. Either way, given the way this year's gone, having a chance (albeit a slim one) at #19 headed into the final weekend's a great accomplishment.

And I wouldn't write us off yet. You just never know.

4-5-1 at home to stoke City? last game of the season? 5 man flooding the midfield?

Hope not.

Fergie's used this type of lineup several times throughout the season. After Berba's showing today, I see him on the bench. Using more of a 4-3-2-1 with Giggs and/or Nani just behind Rooney, and the other one up the wing with Evra up the opposite wing. They've done it before and I wouldn't be surprised to see it again. If Berba lived up to expectations better, then he'd certainly be in there. Maybe he'll put in some hard work in training this week and make the starting lineup.

chelsea leading 1 nil the whole game and then wigan score a screamer in the 94th min whilst handing us the title.

i can see it!!!

We still looked much much better with 2 strikers on the pitch today. As soon as we shifted to 4-5-1 we struggled to get much of the ball or create chances.

Personally I'd go with virtually the same line up as today only with Macheda and Rafael brought in. I don't for a second believe Wigan will get anything but slaughtered so I just hope we put on a good show. A Rooney hat-trick to secure the golden boot would be a nice end to the season.

Early goal please.

Might knock Chelseas concentration a little. If Wigan can make it to half time, and maybe snatch a goal they could get a draw.

Chelsea will pummel Wigan. Amongst other reasons, Martinez is good mates with Rafa

fancy rooney for the hat trick and to lift the golden boot. He really looked fit yesterday and tried tirelessly to get berba on track.
