How do I go about the traintop roof safari thingy?? Is it a mission or something that you can do anytime?? Just started playing the game actually. Only done about 3 or 4 mission, the last one being the breaking in the horse with Bonnie. Other than that, just rode about hunting animals and playing some poker. I'm really bad at the horseshoe thingy and the finger fillet. Also where to find those pack of wolves??

I turned on the game today and all my save files are from a couple of days ago from when I was still in Mexico. Probably about 5 hours of gameplay gone.

It's never happened with any other game though, and this is the most glitch-ridden game I think I've ever played.

Why the feck am I being mugged for $100 in horse carriage journeys that are around $10.
If you do the treasure hunting missions you get coach rides for free, that was useful.
It's a glitch, I saw it mentioned in a review.
Thought as much, Rockstar will be Rockstar I guess - excellent games, excellent glitches.
Best grind out the Treasure hunter challenges then.

Same sort of experience...except with horses.
It betters it though since the missions are more varied and less repetitive, story's top notch, brilliant eccentric characters and the online is great fun especially with mates.

Well, not so much the ending about John dying(which I thought made story abit more epic), but more about you having to control his son Jack after the main story finishes. How do they expect us to control a character who has a squeeky voice?
You put in around 10-15 hours playing as John marston(who is a cool as f*ck dude with his badass voice), getting to know and understand him, and then all of a sudden he's killed and you're supposed to take control of someone totally different, not to mention someone who is not even remotely cool with his squeeky voice. Wtf?
It takes the value out of playing the game after the story ends.

I also got this today. Single player is pretty much as i expected from reading this thread and having played previous GTA's. I only had a very quick play on the MP and it was poo. I just kept spawning right near a load of people who shot me pretty much right away.

How did you find Mirrors Edge btw TFP?
It's ok, I think the fact that I bought Alan Wake at the exact same time didnt help much as that really is a superb game so my expectations were a little high going into Mirrors Edge.
But that said it's an ok game, a great original idea but its lacking something...not too sure what it is but if they ever figure it out theyve got a best seller on their hands for sure.

I don't really get how to have a duel. I've had 2 and won them both but i don't really know what i did to win. I think it was more by good luck rather than good judgement or skill.
I went through the whole game like this, and just tended to slam all the shoulder buttons, and it usually worked. I went through a phase of trying to disarm everyone, but it doesn't always work, so, as a word of advice, only do it after cheating at Poker.
My brother and I got 100% in this game the other day and I must say I've really enjoyed it. The bounties are always good fun and the hunting/shooting challenges were excellent. I'm now just trophy hunting and causing carnage with my new outfit that makes me immune from police attention

I tried free roam online today. Every time I spawned, the same guy came bounding up on his horse and killed me. I didn't even stay alive long enough to get on my mule!
Needless to say, I turned off after the 5th time.
