Philadelphia Union vs Manchester United - Pre-Season Tour

Please its 5 something in the morning can we have this thing sorted early in the second half?

fecks sake it's out second fecking friendly against a match fit decent little outfit. We have realistically 3 at most first 11 players out, we have a midfield and defence which have never, and will never play together again, and we've played some lovely football
 
This United XI would be relegated. Obertan does my head in.
 
Kiko's not gotten into the game, poor use of the ball.
Obertan's looked like Nani used to - skill, pace but keeps doing the wrong thing or trying too many flicks.
Cleverley and Welbeck have shown promise - hope they both get plenty of football this season.

Weve been pretty rubbish all in all, hence Fergies extremly glum borderline angry look on the sidelines and Giggs frustration/fury coming off at half time there.

It was a very poor half from us.
 
Cleverley's grown well into the game and been energetic and creative. Welbeck has looked lively from the start and the most likely to score - his movement and link-up play has been very good.

Kiko and Obertan have been frustrating and wasted a number of good positions.
 
Both teams could have had a few. Several United players looking shoddy, Giggsy was pissed off.
 
I know it's only pre-season, but a few of this lot need to have a serious fecking word with themselves. When two 35+ year olds blatantly make the rest of the side (Cleverley excluded) look like a bunch of burger munching OAPs, you have to wonder where certain players' heads are at.

Have a bit of fecking pride in yourselves eh lads?

No wonder Giggs is pissed
 
Macheda, Obertan and Cleverley struggled first half for me. Hopefully they'll have better second half showings.
 
Cleverley has been brilliant when he has played in the middle, Obertan has been poor.

Course they're like that, they will want and demand borderline perfection from the team, but at the end of the day it's still a fecking friendly, and we're still playing well enough

And some of these have a serious shot at starting in the first team.

On this evidence doesn't look like any of them want it. Barring Cleverly.
