Interesting thing I heard a commentator mention during the NYRB v Spurs match is how much time on the ball the NYRB were enjoying unlike a MLS game. Not sure if it's the heat and humidity, the pre-season and lack of "full throttle," but is the MLS really that faster to close players down? I never thought this. Might have to watch closely.
