It's not his overall performances I'm concerned out, but his work ethic. Players looking sloppy or not sharp can be excused in pre-season, but looking like you don't give a shit shouldnt be.

This has been a nothing game, against a nothing team - it's really not suitable to draw any sort of conclusions. I bet there were a number of players playing at half pace, but that won't be noticed.

There was a crowd of 50,000 in the ground and probably a million or so watching on streams across the globe...maybe a training session to you but as a pre-season guide to our sharpness and levels of fitness a valuable watching exercise to us mere muppets.
