Yeah but him playing means Hernandez plays out on the wing. So this is a waste of a night for him. Whereas I would much prefer to see him up front. Every time Owen plays its a lost chance for him or Macheda which is no good in helping in the future.

True, but at some point those players will have to step up and play in the PL. It's about having a squad, and if they can't beat Newcastle at home, then you have to question how good they are. Ofcourse, they could still turn it around...
