Sunderland vs. Manchester United

At the moment, Berbatov is our in form striker. He has no international duties now, the man should be playing every match he possibly can (well in the league and CL anyway). This early in the season and with not playing internationals anymore, there's no reason for him to be rested.

He struggled in the last couple of games though, he has looked knackered. Maybe he needed the rest. Regardless of whether or not he is playing internationals, he can still be overly tired for today's match.

What an odd line-up. oh well. Still think we'll win, but I'm not very confident with that front 2.

Nani to score!

I'm not particularly confident.

Does anyone have a decent stream for it?

I'm not very confident about today. That has nothing to do with the team selection like, it's how i've felt all week.

Sunderland is a tough place to go, we usually struggle there and they seem to have hit some form.

Glad to have Rio back though.

we won there on our past few visits hope it continues

Sunderland line-up

22 Mignolet
02 Bardsley
04 Turner
15 Onuoha
19 Bramble
06 Cattermole
07 Zenden
08 Malbranque
10 Henderson
27 Al-Muhammadi
11 Bent

Well, here's hoping that Kiko and Owen play well together and get us a few goals to win the match.

Of course if that happens, then it'll be a masterstroke by SAF but if it backfires, then SAF will get criticised.

No one a little bit excited that babe on the bench?

?

The line up isn't very odd at all really. Macheda being the only real surprise.

So what? Has Bebe leaped frog Obertan? That is not cool SAF, not cool;finally Evra gets a break which should have happened a long long time ago. He has played way too many games in the last 3 years

Mecheda starting seems to rubbish goal.com's 'news' that Lazio had agree'd to loan him.

Not really that supprising a line up, Evra hasn't really played brilliantly lately, Berba being left out is abit of a surprise though. Mecheda and him seemed to work ok together in the Liverpool game when he came on.

Strange lineup.

Not sure I have too much faith with Owen and Kiko starting. Off the bench, sure. But starting...

Oh well, hope for the best I guess.

Well yeah, but a 9-0 spanking would be better. I never understand wanting to scrape a win.

Unless it's against Liverpool/City, then it just adds salt to their wounds

Obviously, a 9-0 win would be a much better result than a 1-0 win, but let's be realistic about it. We are not going to win 9-0. Sunderland are a decent team, and are very good at home, so 3 points is a fantastic result.

Veetle would be very much appreetle.
