Sunderland vs. Manchester United

We need a left winger and to stretch Sunderland's midfield.

Wouldn't be surprised to see Evra come on as a LM :nervous:

Some of Anderson's passing under pressure has been poor, but when he gets the ball, turns and runs at defenders centrally, we actually look dangerous, and he looks like the only player likely to make something happen.

We can't play 442 anymore, the 2 in the middle aren't good enough and Scholes is past his time. Anderson can't keep his position, against Valencia he was a lot of times alone at front pushing Berba to the left.

our squad isn't strong enough that warrants drastic changes in the team that saf has been doing.

Someone pleasepleaseplease pm me a decent stream...............

I thought we've been fantastic. We've passed excellently and created plenty of chances to score. Sunderland have basically created very little and have had so little of the ball that they will know it's only a matter of time before we score 4 or 5. Probably the easiest half time team talk of Ferguson's career, just a matter of go out and keep playing that way because they can't cope with the way we're playing at the moment and we're a class above.

Oh and Steve McManaman is an extremely insightful and interesting commentator.

Can i just say to those people defending O'shea, that he is expected to make them headers in the air, any defender would be expected to make them headers its his job to put his head there - bog standard defending! We are manchester united we need more than an ability to win headers, Its the passing, losing the ball and the slow decision making which is a head feck.

Not the kind of game for Owen. In fact, he's not made his case to start game. Heavy first touch. Can't outrun his markers. Get outmuscled for the long balls. Get either knocked off his feet or get knicked for the balls to feet. His game nowadays is about getting service, disappearing off his marker as United probe and ghosting into positions. Berbatov on Owen and Hernandez for Anderson.

eh?

Id say we just need Berba to come on for Owen, as hes just being outmuscled when he gets near the ball, he cant handle those big monsters Onohua and Bramble. Then play Berba behind Macheda. Nani needs to get in the game also, that little scuffle where he got an elbow brushed off his face was the wimpiest thing ive seen in quite some time. he needs to toughen up. also the left wing needs sorting, maybe anderson should stay left and stop drifting throughout midfield, either that or bring on Bebe(Obertan instead if hes on the bench)

are they showing the match from a couple of seasons ago where you are?

I'm amazed that people can criticise players who have been here years and then proclaim that a largely unknown player should be brought on to help get the win.

I wonder how many games Bebe will get until the honeymoon period is over and people want him shipped out also.

Why does Ferguson pick a team which is obviously imbalanced and not good enough to get the job done, and then (presumably) get angry and confused when it looks imbalanced and incapable of getting the job done?

Today our squad doesn't look so good does it?
I mean we always say we have got decent depth and an overall quality squad but do we really?

I need a stiff drink!

Berbatov only one out on the pitch, who says he's lazy?

His tactics/team selections this season can be discussed...

Have Bebe and Hernandez come on yet? The Caftards wet dream combo.

The only reason people want Bebe on is because he's the only winger on the bench. Considering we have no one playing Left Wing, then its a fair assumption to make that bringing him on would give the formation more balance.

Berba on...thank feck for that.

Owen isn't a starter anymore. (not against any half decent side anyway)

Switched to the English coms espn stream now, listening to McManaman rip into us in that accent is horrible though. Can't stand him, how does he keep getting work?

Berba on for Owen

Yeah..... doesn't have a clue that chap.

We need something different do you not see that?!

we are short of ideas and it would take a fluke for us to score at the minute.

Bebe has looked lively and would add some much needs surprise to our play.

O'shea needs to come off, we need evra in, we need ball players not hoofers. Also berba for owen.

Surely we can't play any worse in the 2nd half or will we? :annoyed:

Anderson has given the ball away at least 3 times. Once on a backpass. To say he's been out best midfield just proves how shite the rest have been. It's been abysmal.

Fletcher might as well not be playing and Scholes doesn't look fit.

Poor half, and we'll be lucky to steal another win like we did against Valencia.
Scholesy is being man marked by Malbranque which explains why he doesn't look right.

I must be watching a different game than most on here coz Anderson is constantly giving up possesion. Yes, he's lively but feck me, pass to a United player, ffs.

2nd half, Berba-On!
