Premier League: 02/03 October

Right before half time as well. Pretty much game over with no V.Persie to change things imo.

The worse thing is that the current state of Liverpool Football Club is the entire doing of one man, and one man only, yet many of their supporters will still insist that he's some form of badly treated god. You couldn't make it up!

It's hilarious. They think he's God mainly because of his spat with Fergie.

While it's perfectly logical that he should do well against them it's rather amusing how Wenger has absolutely no clue on how to stop it from happening.

Say what you want, but that was a deft fecking touch, and the speed of thought to try it... Lucky, yes... but it was a smashing goal, and he did it.

feck

How many times can a man score against you before you learn how to fecking defend against him??

It's only his 20th goal or so against them...bastard!

To be fair though. When he's on form and motivated he's the hardest player in the world to contain. Power, pace, good touch and movement and predetory instinct. Even if you know he is a danger, it's hard to mark him.

I agree, but 13 in 13 is pathetic from Arsenals POV

Vidic and Rio have managed

Pretty easily too. Barring that one goal in the Fa cup final against us, they've made him look rubbish most of the times. Lucio absolutely bullied Drogba. There's a way to play him, Arsenal don't have the players for it.

I shoulda made Drogba my FF captain then he'd never have feckin scored

I took the captaincy of Drogba for the first time for Malouda this week  Hes playing arsenal ffs, he always scores past them, what was i thinking. rofl.

I'm pretty sure they think he's god because he won them #5 and then took them to the finals the year after. The spat with Fergie was no doubt applauded but lets not pretend like he didn't make them a force in Europe.

He's fecked off now. We can be a little more objective (or at least some of us can).

Chelsea dirty bastards

First Malouda - and now Essien

What? His offside by a mile goal? That and a goal in the FA Cup final.

He hasn't been great against us on most occasions and we normally know how to contain him, much better than Arsenal anyway.

There's no doubt we do better against him. But he's still a force to be reckoned with, and our games with them are all pretty tight. It's not like our forward have their number either.

I can see it now...

Woy at the press conference. " Well you know, have to give Blackpool credit. They are a formidable side"
